Born in Bulgaria, Dr. Milen Vitanov, affectionately referred to as Dr. V. by his patients, grew up in the city of Sofia. As a young child, Dr. V. dreamed of traveling to the land of opportunities, the United States of America. With discipline, hard work, and dedication, his dream of crossing the Atlantic Ocean and establishing a new home in the United States became a reality. In the United States, Dr. V. took pride in his first job as a janitor and worked tirelessly to complete his education. In May of 2008, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Physiology from Arizona State University. Promptly after graduation, Dr. V. began working as a research technologist. His new position provided him with the research background needed in performing evidence-based practices.

In 2011, Motivated by the pursuit of excellence and driven by the strong conviction that improving the life of others was his calling, Dr. V. attended the prestigious Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, A.T. Still University. There, he embraced the opportunity to perfect his skills by pursuing his clinical studies (direct patient care) travelling in various parts of the country. Practicing in cities such as Salt Lake City, UT, Nipomo, CA, and Bethel, AK, Dr. V. was able to implement new techniques, use the latest technologies, gain valuable experience, and increase his cultural awareness.

In 2015, after graduating from Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, A.T. Still University as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D), Dr. V. Completed a year of General Practice Residency at the New-York University Langone Hospital. His year of avid learning and vigorous training as a resident was followed by a tenure as a general dentist in Normal, IL. Dr. V has always dreamed of one day coming back home to Phoenix, Arizona, and opening a dental office. Today, Dr. V has come home to the Valley of the Sun.
