Symptoms of Mouth Tori
Mouth tori are benign bony growths that can appear under the tongue, on the roof of the mouth, or along the inner sides of the jaw. While they are often painless and found incidentally at a dental exam, you may notice hard lumps, food trapping around the bumps, trouble fitting dentures or mouthguards, occasional irritation or ulceration, and - if the growths become large - changes in speech or chewing comfort.
